Meet Your TherapistÂ
Thomas Marz, LCSW

About Thomas
Thomas cares deeply about people and about making mental health care feel personal, practical, and genuinely helpful. Through service, humanitarian work, and his own life experiences, he has seen that life can be hard and how much it matters to have someone in your corner.
Â
As a therapist, Thomas brings curiosity, openness, and a genuine interest in understanding each person’s story. He does not believe therapy should feel overly clinical or like there is one right way to heal. He works collaboratively with each person to better understand what is going on, what may be contributing to symptoms, and what can help them move toward the life they want.
Outside of therapy, Thomas loves spending time with his wife, his son, and his second little boy who is on the way. He enjoys being around friends and extended family. Thomas greatly appreciates the outdoors. In his free time, you will usually find him fly fishing, skiing, camping, hiking, or mountain biking.

Why Thomas Does This Work
Thomas first sat in a therapist’s office at sixteen, and that experience stayed with him. He remembers what it felt like to be struggling and to have someone genuinely listen, care, and help him find a way forward. Since then, his own experiences and the people he has worked with have taught him how complicated life can be and how much it matters to feel understood.Â
