What Will I Pay With Insurance?

Understanding your insurance benefits for mental health care can be complex. Before your first session, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to verify your coverage for outpatient mental health services.

When you use insurance, your actual out-of-pocket cost is determined by your specific plan's deductible, copay, and coinsurance rates. A copay is a fixed amount you pay per visit, while coinsurance is a percentage of the total allowed amount for the service.

We will bill your insurance directly for in-network care, if available. You are responsible for any amounts designated by your insurance as 'patient responsibility' based on your plan's terms.

Paying Out of Pocket

Individual Therapy

$125 per session

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

Quick Answers

How do I know what my insurance covers?

We recommend calling your member services number on the back of your insurance card. You can ask specifically about 'outpatient mental health benefits' and if there are any deductible requirements.

What if you're not in network with my plan?

If we are out-of-network for your specific plan, you may be able to use 'out-of-network benefits.' We can provide a Superbill (a detailed invoice) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

When do I pay for my sessions?

Payment is due at the time of service. We keep a card on file in our secure client portal and process payments automatically after each session.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
